T20 World Cup: Pakistan will face Australia in the second semi final today


Pakistan and Australia will meet in the second semi-final of the ongoing T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday. Rhythm Pakistan is aiming to enter the final of the T20 World Cup for the third time by defeating its strong rival Australia.

Pakistan is in high spirits after getting 100 percent result in five games of group stage. Captain Babar Azam’s excellent rhythm will strengthen his confidence.

Pakistan has already won the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup in 2009. Similarly, the final was reached in the first edition of 2007. But since 2009, Pakistan has not reached the final.

Australia, meanwhile, have yet to win a title. Despite reaching the final of the 2010 World Cup, England was an obstacle for the title.

Australia, who have reached the semi-finals after winning four of the five games in the group stage, want to reach the final by taking a break from Pakistan. However, there were some ups and downs for the Australian players in the group stage. Due to which the confidence of the players may be low.

Today’s winner will face New Zealand in the final on Sunday. New Zealand reached the final for the first time by defeating England by 5 wickets in the semi-final.
