Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit India on December 6. During his one-day visit, Putin is scheduled to hold talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The two countries are expected to agree on some issues during the visit. Of the defense systems India has purchased from Russia, 400 batches will reach India by the end of this year.

Putin is in India to attend the 2018 annual conference. On the same occasion, an agreement was reached between the two countries to purchase that amount of defense system.

This will be his second visit to India this year. Earlier this year, he attended the Geneva Summit, where he met with US President Joe Biden. He addressed the G20 summit in Italy in a virtual way after the Corona infection spread in Russia.

Russia and Japan are members of this annual summit mechanism hosted by India. The conference could not be held last year due to the Corona epidemic.
